1 1/2 oz Stonecutter Spirits Single Barrel Gin
1/2 oz cranberry cardamom syrup*
1/2 oz lemon 
1 oz hard cider cider (we recommend Champlain Orchards Somerset)
4 dashes Angostura bitters
6 mint leaves, muddled

Combine all ingredients except cider and Angostura bitters in glass shaker. Fill with ice. Shake vigorously for 8-12 seconds.  Strain into Collins glass filled with ice. Top with cider. Float Angostura bitters over ice. Garnish with mint sprig.

*Cranberry Cardamom Syrup
2 cups sugar
2 cups water

12 oz bag frozen cranberries
1 tbs cardamom seed (careful not to use ground cardamom)

Bring sugar and water to simmer over medium heat till sugar is completely dissolved. Reduce heat to low. Add frozen cranberries and cardamom. Allow to steep for 20-30 minutes covered. Strain out cranberries and cardamom, pressingly lightly to extract as much juice as possible.
