The Sour Vermonter

the sour vermonter cocktail

1 ½ oz Stonecutter Spirits Heritage Cask Whiskey

1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice

½ oz Runamok Maple Syrup (or try their Cardamom infused syrup)

½ oz (or less) Sapling Maple Bourbon, t top

Small dash of cinnamon and nutmeg

 

Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. In rocks glass, swirl maple syrup around, add fresh ice. Strain cocktail into glass. Garnish with a lemon twist and sprinkle of cinnamon/nutmeg (optional).
