Runcutter Sazerac cocktail

1½ oz. Stonecutter Spirits Maple Cask Whiskey

½ oz. Runamok Smoked Pecan Wood Maple Syrup

3 dashes Pernod

3 dashes Peychaud's bitters

 

Combine syrup and Pernod. Pour into a Martini glass and swirl to coat the glass. Leave remainder in the bottom of glass. Place the Martini glass into the freezer to frost.  Once the glass is chilled, pour Stonecutter Spirits Maple Cask Whiskey and the Peychaud Bitters. Gently stir.  Garnish with a Meyer Lemon twist and serve.

 

Note: If Stonecutter Spirits Maple Cask Whiskey is unavailable, please know that Stonecutter Spirits Heritage Cask Whiskey may be substituted with equally satisfying result.
