1 ½ oz. Brown Butter Stonecutter Spirits Heritage Cask Whiskey

¾ oz. Lairds Bonded Apple Brandy

¼ oz. Runamok Cardamom Infused Maple Syrup

3 dashes Angostura Bitters

3 sprigs rosemary

 

Combine all ingredients except rosemary in a mixing glass. Add ice and stir. Julep strain into double old fashioned glass over one large rock. Garnish with orange peel and fresh rosemary sprig. Using a torch (or smoking gun), burn other two rosemary sprigs and cover, let smoke flavor the drink for 30 seconds, remove lid.

 

Brown Butter Whiskey

1 stick butter

1 bottle Stonecutter Spirits Heritage Cask Whiskey

 

Brown one stick butter. Combine with one bottle of whiskey. Shake a bit, and then freeze until all fat is solidified. Strain through cheese cloth or super bag.
