Prizes! Party! Fame! Glory! All the Maple!

To celebrate sugar season and the release of our collaborative Maple Cask Whiskey, Stonecutter is throwing a cocktail competition with our friends at Runamok Maple! Whether you are a bartender by trade or a real whiz behind your home bar, try your hand at crafting the best maple cocktail the Green Mountain State has ever seen!

Ways to Win

1st Place: Prize: $250 cash + glory (be a featured cocktail at our Maple Madness Party at Highball Social), $100 bar tab AND a Runamok Maple gift basket.

1st Place Winner chosen by the Stonecutter bar team. The recipes will be judged on creativity, taste, appearance and if the cocktail enhances the experience of the featured spirit.

People’s Choice: Prize: Glory (be a featured cocktail at our Maple Madness Party at Highball Social), $100 bar tab AND a Runamok Maple gift basket.

People’s Choice Winner is the cocktail recipes that receives the most online votes, tallied up at the end of March.

Interest piqued? Here’s how it works! Your recipe must use Stonecutter Spirits Single Barrel Gin, Heritage Cask Whiskey, Maple Cask Whiskey, or any combination of the three as the base spirit of your cocktail AND any flavor of Runamok maple syrup. Submit your entry by March 15 to be considered!

Got Maple?

The five flavors of Runamok maple syrup listed below will be available for free at Stonecutter Spirits in Middlebury and at Highball Social in Burlington:

  • Smoked with Pecan Wood Maple Syrup

  • Hibiscus Flower Infused Maple Syrup

  • Ginger Root Infused Maple Syrup

  • Jasmine Tea Infused Maple Syrup

  • Cardamom Infused Maple Syrup

Competitors can choose up to three flavors. If you would like a flavor beyond these five please contact Runamok directly ( info@runamokmaple.com ) and they will ship them to you.

Cocktail submissions will have personal information hidden during a blind judging process to ensure the absence of bias.
